Where can I park at Edgbaston Park Hotel? Is parking free?
Parking at the hotel is free. Just collect a parking permit at reception when you check in.
Parking is available directly outside the hotel, or on the ground floor of the North East multi-storey car park (entrance on Pritchatts Road), which is reserved solely for hotel guests. From there, it’s just two minutes’ walk back to the hotel along an accessible footpath. Blue Badge parking is available directly outside the hotel.
What time is check in?
Check in is available from 2pm on the day of your arrival.
Check out is by 10am. If you’d like to arrange a late checkout, just ask at reception. There may be a small charge.
How do I get to Edgbaston Park Hotel?
Edgbaston Park Hotel is located less than three miles south of Birmingham city centre.
University train station is just a ten-minute walk from the hotel. A high-frequency service operates from Birmingham New Street, and takes only seven minutes. Please support our mission to be as sustainable as possible, and consider travelling by train when you visit.
By car, use the postcode B15 2RS in your satnav. The hotel is just 8 miles from the motorway, with excellent links from across the country. A taxi from the city centre will take 10 – 20 minutes depending on traffic.
For international travellers, Birmingham International Airport is just a 25-minute drive away. Alternatively, take a train from the airport’s own station and travel to University station, changing at Birmingham New Street.

Do I need a passport to book a hotel in the UK?
If you’re an international guest (excluding the Republic of Ireland and Commonwealth countries), you’ll need to complete a registration form and provide details from your identification when you check in. This could be your passport, driving licence or a national ID card. All guests will need to show proof of identity (such as a bank card or the examples above) and nationality.
We’ll never ask to keep your passport or other ID. You should store this securely in your room safe, or keep it with you.
Can I get married at Edgbaston Park Hotel?
Yes! Edgbaston Park Hotel in Birmingham is licensed to hold civil ceremonies and partnerships in both its wedding venues, Hornton Grange and the Fry Suite.
If you prefer to get married at a church or another personal venue, you’re very welcome to hold your reception with us. Packages include everything you’ll need, from your wedding breakfast and drinks to a romantic overnight stay for the happy couple.
