Introducing 1900 Steakhouse Bar & Grill

A hotel is more than just a place to stay.

Great hotels offer great food, too. Somewhere to relax and unwind after a long day. A welcoming space to meet with friends and family and celebrate happy events, or just spend time together. And a food and drink menu that’s varied and fresh, from comforting classics to distinctive contemporary flavours.

At Edgbaston Park Hotel and Conference Centre, you’ll find all this – in a chic setting that’s unlike any other.

1900 Steakhouse Bar & Grill is located in the sleek white buildings on the right of this image.

1900 Steakhouse Bar & Grill will bring you top-quality local produce, the finest cuts of meat and fish, and the professional service you deserve.

Head Chef Richard Marshall’s menu marries high-quality steakhouse style with unique touches. Start with Cornish crab and pickled cucumber, or beef tartare with quail egg. Follow with a wagyu beef burger and kimchi slaw on a charcoal bun, gnocchi with wild mushrooms and tarragon cream, or keep it traditional with a ribeye steak and Bearnaise sauce. Finish with tiramisu with caramel popcorn, or raspberry macaron with lychee mousse and liquorice.

For a more casual experience, order sandwiches, light meals or Old Joe beer-battered fish and chips at the bar, made with the hotel’s own Pilsner.

Hotel guests can enjoy a classic full English breakfast, pancakes or lighter continental options every morning.

But of course, 1900 Steakhouse Bar & Grill’s doors are open to all, whether you’re staying with us or not. If you’re visiting Edgbaston with friends or family, why not join us for a traditional afternoon tea? Or start your evening in style, with our cocktail menu.

Stay tuned for opening hours, complete menus, and the opportunity to book a table when we open later this summer.

Glass panelling reflects the botanical influences of the Arts and Crafts movement, echoed throughout the hotel.

Hi Judy! I can’t share the exact opening date quite yet, unfortunately, but it will be very soon. We’ll be sure to let everyone know as soon as we can. There will be many vegetarian options on the menu, of course – and if you have specific dietary needs that the main restaurant menu doesn’t fulfil, the kitchen will always create something just for you. Looking forward to welcoming you!
