We were delighted to reopen our doors to the public on 4 July 2020 however we understand you may still have concerns about booking a meeting, event or bedroom.

Our entire team is fully committed to your safety and wellbeing. We have established a robust ten-point plan, with additional measures in place (including flexible cancellation policies), and our ‘Safe stay, your way guarantee’. We hope to see you soon!

  • What is Edgbaston Park Hotel doing to support key workers?

    As you may know, we’re located very close to Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Happily, we’re able to accommodate key NHS staff and contractors at the hotel during this crisis, to support their vital work and provide a safe, convenient place for them to stay.

    As other key workers return to work, we’re also supporting individuals from a wide range of other services: health and social care; education and childcare; key public services; local and national government; food and other necessary goods; public safety and national security; transport; and utilities, communication and financial services.

    Please note that valid ID and written proof that you are a key worker from your employer will be required upon check in in order for the reservation to be valid.

  • Does Edgbaston Park Hotel offer flexible cancellation polices if my booking is affected by COVID-19?

    At Edgbaston Park Hotel and Conference Centre, we want to put your mind at ease by introducing a flexible approach to bookings. For any new meetings or events confirmed with us moving forwards, we promise that if they subsequently are unable to go ahead due to COVID-19, we will transfer your booking to a mutually agreeable future date penalty-free. As an added assurance we will make no change to the previously agreed rates.

  • Is the restaurant and bar area open at the hotel?

    We have currently adapted our food service to ensure that we are operating as safely as possible for the protection of our teams. We can now offer pre-packaged, delicious ‘grab and-go’ meals, created by our on-site chefs. This includes hot and cold options, in pre-loaded bento boxes. There will also be the option to eat within private spaces.

    Currently, the bar will be open 10:30am – 10:00pm for food and drinks service and there is also an opportunity dine from the comfort of your own bedroom. Hot and cold breakfast is available for room service only and the restaurant remains closes. Please email enquiries@edgbastonparkhotel.com or speak to our reception team on arrival to find out more.

  • Do I need to wear a face covering at the hotel?

    For members of the public, from 8 August, face coverings must be worn within any public area of a hotel which includes all reception areas, corridors and the bar and lounge area. Face coverings are not required in bedrooms or restaurants with table service provided.

  • Do you have any special offers?

    Yes, we offer a wide range of special offers at the moment from staying the night, booking a meeting or dining with us!

    We are also proud to support the ‘Eat out to help out scheme’ which entitles you to 50% discount (up to the value of £10 per person) for food and non-alcoholic drinks during Monday – Wednesday from 3rd – 31st August 2020.

  • Where can I view your new meeting room capacities based on the new social distancing rule?

    Download our new capacities flyer to find out more or you can email enquiries@edgbastonparkhotel.com to discuss further with our sales team.

    We have amended the capacities of all of our meetings and events spaces, taking into account the current one-metre social distancing guidelines however we can still accommodate meetings and events with a two-metre distance rule. We will update the capacities accordingly should the government guidelines adapt.

  • What is your ‘Safe stay, your way’ guarantee?

    As we reopen the Edgbaston Park Hotel and Conference Centre, we are confident that we have thought of everything you need to have a safe stay. We have put a number of extra measures in place to ensure that you feel comfortable and safe, resulting in a better night’s sleep.

    In fact, we’re so confident that you’ll feel satisfied, that if you don’t get a good night’s sleep, we’ll give you your money back* Just speak to one of our friendly reception team. This is our ‘Safe stay, your way’ guarantee.

  • What precautionary measures are your housekeeping team taking?

    Our housekeeping team are limiting the physical contact with surfaces and belongings in your room to protect your welfare and the welfare of our colleagues.

    For guests who are staying for multiple night’s we will not be cleaning your room. On the fifth day of your stay a member of our team will place a bag containing clean linen, tea and coffee making products and toilet roll in your room.

    Please leave any dirty linen and rubbish bags outside of your room by 11am each day for collection. If you require any clean towels or additional tea and coffee products etc, please contact reception.
