Due to the latest national lockdown across the UK, Edgbaston Park Hotel & Conference Centre will still remain open but will remain under restricted operations until further notice. For further information, please read our detailed FAQ’s below.
We are delighted to remain open to support key workers and for those travelling for business purposes only. If you fall within these categories and are looking for accommodation, please email us or book directly on our website for the best rates.
Our terrace area is now fully open to accommodate outdoor dining for groups up to six people or two households. To book your table, please head over to our dining page.
The hotel will hopefully reopen to the public on Monday 17 May 2021, depending on the government guidelines.
Our entire team is fully committed to your safety and well-being. We have established a robust ten-point plan, with additional measures in place (including flexible cancellation policies), and our ‘Safe stay, your way guarantee’.

Is Edgbaston Park Hotel still open for accommodation?
As you may know, we’re located very close to Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Happily, we’re able to accommodate key workers and contractors at the hotel during this crisis, to support their vital work and provide a safe, convenient place for them to stay.
If you are travelling for work and business purposes, we are happy to confirm that we can accommodate your booking. For best prices, please contact us directly on firstname.lastname@example.org or book online.

What does restrcted operations mean?
Due to the latest restrictions across England, Edgbaston Park Hotel will remain under restricted operations until further notice;
- Room service will be available every evening between 6pm-9pm
- Outdoor dining will be available daily between 12pm-9pm. Pre-booking is advised
- The public indoor restaurant, bar and lounge will be closed
- Only continental breakfast will be available as room or takeaway service
- Entrance to the hotel will be limited, please notify us the time of your arrival so we can allow you access
- Limited housekeeping service

Do I need to wear a face covering at the hotel?
For members of the public, from 8 August, face coverings must be worn within any public area of a hotel which includes all reception areas, corridors and the bar and lounge area. Face coverings are not required in bedrooms or restaurants with table service provided.
Does Edgbaston Park Hotel offer flexible cancellation polices if my booking is affected?
At Edgbaston Park Hotel and Conference Centre, we want to put your mind at ease by introducing a flexible approach to bookings. For any new meetings or events confirmed with us moving forwards, we promise that if they subsequently are unable to go ahead due to restrictions, we will transfer your booking to a mutually agreeable future date penalty-free. As an added assurance we will make no change to the previously agreed rates.

What precautionary measures are your housekeeping team taking?
Our housekeeping team are limiting the physical contact with surfaces and belongings in your room to protect your welfare and the welfare of our colleagues.
For guests who are staying for multiple night’s we will not be cleaning your room. On the fifth day of your stay a member of our team will place a bag containing clean linen, tea and coffee making products and toilet roll in your room.
Please leave any dirty linen and rubbish bags outside of your room by 11am each day for collection. If you require any clean towels or additional tea and coffee products etc, please contact reception.
Is the University’s Sport and Fitness Club open?

Can I order room service at the hotel?
Room service will be available every evening between 6pm-9pm. You can find our room service menu upon arrival.
Continental breakfast is available as room or take away service between 6am-10am daily.
Outdoor dining is open for up to six guests or two households.
