2025 marks the 125th anniversary of University of Birmingham – and to celebrate, Edgbaston Park Hotel is launching a free lecture series for hotel guests and campus visitors.
The series begins with a lecture from Dr Melanie Jouaiti of University of Birmingham’s School of Computer Science about how artificial intelligence will shape the future of healthcare in our increasingly digital world:
How the lecture series works:
- The lectures will be held at Edgbaston Park Hotel on the following dates: Wednesday 26 March, and Thursday 8 May. Each session will start at 4pm.
- The 30-minute lecture will be followed by a 15-minute Q&A session. There will be complimentary nibbles and drinks can be purchased at the 1900 Bar.
- These events are completely free to all hotel guests, campus visitors and the University of Birmingham community.
The first lectures continue the AI Dialogues public exhibition which took place at the University’s city centre venue The Exchange last year.
