Bedrooms
You can explore our rooms from the comfort of your own home with our virtual tours.
Unfortunately, not. However, we’d be happy to provide a cot in your room free of charge should you need one. We can also set up camp-style beds for up to two children if you’re staying in an Executive King or Feature King room. This is only available for children 14 years old and under and is charged at £30 per child.
If you’re planning an overnight stay with your children, please let us know how old they will be at the time of your visit. You can do this by filling out the ‘special requests’ section of our online booking form or by emailing our reservations team.
We want everyone to feel welcome at Edgbaston Park Hotel. There are four adapted rooms available for those with accessibility needs. These are double bedrooms with wet room-style walk-in showers and emergency cords; however, twin beds can be provided if you prefer.

Yes – we’re a pet-friendly hotel and love welcoming both two- and four-legged guests. Up to two pooches are welcome to join you at no extra cost.
Our dog-friendly rooms are located on the ground floor. Please let us know if you require one in advance, either by leaving a note while booking online or letting us know over the phone. Feel free to bring any home comforts with you to help your pet have a great night’s sleep.
We also offer a canine comfort package – including a luxurious dog bed, dog bowl, and treat – for up to two dogs, which you can add on to your stay when you book your room.
Food and drink
Yes, you can enjoy breakfast in bed or have a meal delivered to your room at your convenience. Our room service menu is available from 9.30am to 10pm. Hungry for something a little later? Our after dark menu is available from 10pm to 7am every day.
Please call reception from your room phone to order. A £6 tray charge applies per person.
A full English breakfast buffet is served in our 1900 Restaurant between 7am – 9.30am on weekdays, and 7am – 10am on weekends and bank holidays. This is included in your room cost if you’ve booked our bed and breakfast rate.
Missed breakfast? You can tuck into breakfast baps and pastries at our 1900 Bar from 12pm noon. The bar menu is not included in your room cost.
Yes, it does. Our restaurant and bar also offer a children’s menu.
Everyone is welcome to drink and dine with us, regardless of whether they’re staying at the hotel. Take a look at our menus online and book your table today.
A full English breakfast buffet is served in our 1900 Restaurant between 7am – 9.30am on weekdays, and 7am – 10am on weekends and bank holidays. Dinner service is from 18:30 until 22:00 with last orders at 21:45.
Our bar opens at 8am for breakfast baps and pastries and lunch and dinner food is then served from 12pm until 10pm. The bar is available 24 hours a day for resident’s with a limited service between 11pm and 8am.
Checking in and out
You’re welcome to leave your luggage in our secure storage room after you’ve checked out, or if you’ve arrived early. Just ask at reception and let us know when you’ll be back to collect it.
On weekdays, check-in is at 2pm and check-out is at 10am.
At the weekend, check-in is at 3pm and check-out is at 11am.
If you are part of a group booking, the check in time will vary. Please get in touch with us to find out more.
If you arrive early, let our reception team know; your room may be ready for you. Until it is, you can relax in our bar-lounge and make the most of our complimentary, ultra-fast Wi-Fi.
Car parking
Yes, we have complimentary car parking for up to 100 spaces on a first come first served basis. Car parking is available either side of the hotel entrance or on the lower level of the multi storey car park. Further parking is available at a cost of up to £10.00 for 8-10 hours.
Our 7kW electric vehicle charging points are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are operated by Elmpark.

Charging your vehicle:
- Park at the Elmpark charging point and connect your vehicle using your Type 2 charging cable.
- Once connected,
Start your charging session by either:
- Scanning your RFID card
(Existing RFID cards will need to be linked to your Clenergy account via the ClenergyEV app), or
- Scanning the QR code located on the charger and following the on-screen steps.
The lights next to the charging socket will turn green to confirm charging has started successfully.
Finishing your charge
When you’re finished, stop the charging session via the ClenergyEV app or by scanning your RFID card again.
Please allow a few seconds for the cable to unlock before disconnecting.
Important information
Charging is billed per kWh, with pricing displayed in the ClenergyEV app.
Please do not press the red emergency stop button unless there is a genuine emergency, as this will disable the charger until an engineer attends.

Bookings
You don’t need a passport to book a room. However, if you’re an international guest (excluding Republic of Ireland and the Commonwealth countries) you will need to complete a registration form on arrival. You will also need to show proof of identity and nationality, such as a passport, driving licence or national ID card.
We will never ask to keep your passport or ID; please store this securely in your room safe or keep it with you.

Your stay at Edgbaston Park Hotel comes with complimentary access to University of Birmingham’s Sport & Fitness centre. This is an easy ten-minute walk from the hotel.

University train station is 0.6 miles from the hotel which is around a 14-minute walk. From there, you can reach Birmingham New Street train station in the city centre in just seven minutes.
The closest airport is Birmingham International, which is approximately 9 miles away.
The nearest bus stop is right outside the main street entrance to the hotel. You can catch the X21 and X22 buses heading toward Birmingham or Bartley Green in the opposite direction.
